Without a Trace (2002-2009)

The seventh and final season of Without a Trace began airing on September 23, 2008 and ended on May 19, 2009. There are 24 episodes in this season. It was announced on the morning of the season finale, May 19, 2009, that CBS declined to renew the show for an eighth season. For the U.S. 2008–09 television season the seventh season of Without a Trace ranked 18th with an average of 12.97 million viewers.

The sixth season of Without a Trace began airing in United States on September 27, 2007. Twelve episodes had been completed before the WGA Strike. A further six episodes were produced after the end of the strike, making this the shortest season of Without a Trace at 18 episodes. This season included a cross-over with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation involving Jack and Gil Grissom tracking a serial killer from Las Vegas to New York. This established Without a Trace as part of the same fictional universe as the trilogy of CSI shows and Cold Case. The sixth season of Without a Trace has not been released on DVD in region 1 but was released in region 2 in Germany on November 20, 2009 on and in the UK on July 5, 2010.

The fifth season of Without a Trace premiered September 24, 2006 on CBS and ended on May 10, 2007. There are 24 episodes in this season. This seasons includes the 100th episode. For the U.S. 2006–07 television season the fifth season of Without a Trace ranked 16th with an average of 14.7 million viewers and in the 18–49 demographic ranked 28th with a 4.1/11 Rating/Share. The fifth season of Without a Trace has not been released on DVD in region 1 but was released in region 2 in Germany on July 17, 2009 on and in the UK on February 22, 2010. In region 4 the fifth season was released on July 1, 2009 However it was released on Amazon Instant Video in early 2012.
