The discovery on the street of Giulia, a six-year-old girl, leads the vice-quaestors Andrea Baldini and Luisa Ferrari to face the case of a double murder.

Davide confesses to Andrea and Luisa. The man, who rejects all accusations, remains a suspect and so the social worker entrusts the protection of Giulia to the family of Silvia, Umberto and Nina.

Luisa and Andrea discover that it was Katja who paid Rocco. The two were lovers and the mysterious owner of the resort had made sure that Sara discovered their relationship.

Luisa still finds herself next to Giulia who confirms that her brother Luca had a gun.

Sergio may have a motive for the murder of Sara, while Davide makes a difficult decision that puts him in grave danger.

Silvia and Umberto seem to be hiding something from the police, yet they do not seem to have any motive for the deaths of Sara and Luca.

Andrea denies having assaulted Elio, but the facts seem to deny it. How is this possible? Luisa must discover the truth about her colleague, while the murderer of Sara and Luca seems to have a thousand faces.

Luisa and Andrea are on the trail of the murderer, but the truth may be more surprising than they suspected.
