New arrival, Scott, settles in to life at Mt. Horizon, while his new group, the Cliffhangers, make their way back from an eventful 10-day quest in the woods.

Peter's old flame, Sophie, and ex-wife, Chloe, both show up for a visit. Juliette makes a play for Scott. Shelby fights her demons as the Cliffhangers help search for a lost girl.

Peter faces his estranged dad and his troubled past life in New York City to try and save Mount Horizon from foreclosure. Augie spirals over upcoming school placement tests.

Peter drags the Cliffhangers into the X-Challenge Race when he makes a bet against the Lawrence Hastings Prep School coach. Scott refuses to be a team player.

Juliette deals with her demons after falling into a cavern with a Native American skeleton.

Hannah's departure and Kat's impending graduation spark old emotions and rebellion. The Cliffhangers take care of eggs for a class project. Sophie returns from Africa.

Augie visits home for the first time since coming to Horizon, and his past tries to grab hold. Sophie steps back from her relationship with Peter. Chloe shows up with investors.

Passions run high during a violent thunderstorm.

The Cliffhangers are shaken when a new student overdoses. Frank takes the boys on a quest while Peter and the girls bake for Hannah.

Scott runs when his parents come to visit. Meanwhile, an abused horse befriends Shelby. The Cliffhangers must work together to save the horse from colic.

Ezra's parents come for a surprising visit with disastrous consequences. Juliette spirals when she learns that her mother is getting married again, but she's not invited.

The Cliffhangers deal with the fallout of Juliette & Augie's run and Ezra's overdose. Augie does his best to keep Juliette safe on the streets while evading Peter and Roger's search.

Newcomer, David, and his father, General Ruxton, make life difficult for the Cliffhangers and for Peter.

Chloe's back to film a promotional video for Mount Horizon. Peter, Sophie, and the Cliffhangers clash with the actors and director hired to portray them. Meanwhile, Scott finally tells his story to Child Protective Services.

A journalist goes undercover as a student to expose the school as a dangerous scam. The Cliffhangers aren't fooled. Shelby's story finally comes to the surface when she gets some news from home.

The Cliffhangers are on solo hikes when a big storm rolls in. Peter's dad shows up for a surprise visit.

When Daisy's mother is killed in a car accident, Daisy, Shelby, and Sophie road-trip to the funeral. At Horizon, Roger leads the students through 'Frankenstein,' relating it to each of their lives.

Peter's brother Mark visits to contest their father's will. Shelby's family is bringing her home, and she has only one day to say goodbye. Ezra adapts 'Romeo & Juliet' to impress Daisy. Sophie deals with health issues.

Peter funnels grief into adrenaline, training for a major mountain climb with a former student. Shelby deals with the realities of returning home.

Dealing with deadlines, a cold, and a relapse, Peter faces the consequences of mixing medications. Scott's mother visits.

During Parents Week, Scott and Shelby get into a fight and Juliette meets Auggie's parents. Meanwhile, Shelby's sister runs away from home and to Horizon; Scott lies and tells his father his stepmother never abused him.

Scott's dad comes to take him back home. Scott tries to convince Shelby they can stay togeather even if he dosen't stay at Horizion. Kat talks Peter & Sopie in to having a MORP. David is back and Ezra is upset because Daisy like David and not him. Scott get into a fight with his dad on their way home an makes him take him take him back to Horizion, and when he gets back Shelby asked him why he came back and he said "because I love you." Sopie asks Peter to marry her.
