Nana gets her wish to have tea with the Queen. Naomi makes Sonia and Martin talk again.

Stacey's mum Jean's mental health deteriorates, causing Stacey to rush to her side. Pat attends Janine's court case for Laura's murder and hears a familiar voice from the past.

Pat can't resist Frank's charms. Stacey takes charge and looks after her mum.

Stacey struggles to cope as Jean's sole carer. Pat is devastated by Frank's cunning betrayal. Chrissie lashes out and cuts Gail's face.

Stacey realises that her mum needs more care than she is capable of providing. Chrissie pleads guilty to murder.

Ruby reveals to Stacey her plans to go all the way with Juley that night. Pauline feels coy about her relationship with Joe.

Ruby's hurt when Juley doesn't call her after their night of passion. Juley's shocked to discover that Johnny's ransacked his flat.

Juley tries to back out of his deal with Phil. He's horrified by what he's done. Darren catches Demi looking at headstones. She wants to buy one for Leo, but she can't afford it.

Pauline issues an ultimatum to Margaret. Alfie prepares to give Nana the Christmas she craves, but the day ends in tragedy when she passes away.

Kat helps Alfie come to terms with Nana's death. Martin's not impressed by Sonia's college friends.

Johnny discovers the empty packet from the morning after pill in Ruby's bag. Alfie and Jake organize Nana's funeral.

The locals are out in force to pay their last respects to Nana. Sonia announces that she needs time to sort her head out. Martin's crushed that she's leaving him.

Johnny's livid when Sharon gives Ruby a housewarming gift. He warns her to stay away from Ruby or there'll be trouble. Martin burns Sonia's text books.

Double length episode - Alfie and Kat leave the Square for America, and Sharon and Dennis spend Christmas in hospital.

Dennis brands Johnny a loser and taunts him that Ruby and the Square all know it.

Johnny orders Sharon and Dennis to leave by the New Year, or Dennis won't live to see his baby.

Sharon announces that she wants to leave for America the next day. A journalist interviews Ian about Walford.

Sharon and Dennis prepare to say goodbye to the Square, but a last-minute hitch impedes their exit.
