Approaching the Worm Valley, the Trio encounter ever more bizarre worms and the poisonous mist that decades earlier blinded Chen. The local tribe, on the other hand, will not give up their hunt so easily.

Entering the Worm Valley, the Trio encounter sentient vegetation and an unidentified skeleton with an intriguing badge.

The Trio mourn Shirley's father and look for a way into the relics of Ancient Yunnan. The tribe from Village Dragonsbane are closing in.

Behind the dilapidated mountain temple, the Trio find a hidden passageway into the relics of Ancient Yunnan, leaving behind the tribe from Village Dragonsbane for the time being. However, it seems that they are not alone.

The Trio battle underground creatures and the relentless tribe.

The trio ascend into Xian Wang (the King of Xian)'s sky palace.

The Trio have to deal with a bruxa doll, Tribe Dragonsbane, and a swarm of humanoids at the same time.

Leaving the slaughter at sky palace behind, the Trio look for a way into nether palace. Kaixuan, however, is not himself.

The Trio explore the nether chamber of King Xian, finding more coffins than what they have expected - one sealed by bronze and powerful artifacts, one wrapped in the most precious wood, and one bizarrely short.

The Trio look for the body of King Xian. Meanwhile, Tribe Dragonsbane is breaking apart.

In search of Mu Chen Gem, the Trio brave the last and most powerful traps of King Xian, including a hypnotizing relievo, a swarm of poisonous moth, and the tomb itself.

With Mu Chen Gem in hand, the Trio fight their way out of the tomb through the humanoids.

Unable to solve the mystery of Mu Chen Gem, Bayi is enlightened by the trigram of a peer master, and turns his attention to look for answers in Mount Kunlun.
