A man takes his well-meaning but extremely klutzy fiancee to meet his family. They arrive announced just in time for family dinner and she inadvertently ends up wreaking havoc, which helps his family face their pent-up issues.

A history professor takes driving lessons in her attempt to win back her guy, who fell head over heals for a TV actress known due to her racing skills as the Duchess of Hazzard (in-jokingly played by Dukes of Hazard's Catherine Bach).

Jim's high school sweetheart Wanda is coming to visit, which makes his annoyed wife Marsha jealous. However, as soon as she arrives, Wanda starts boring them with her entire crazy life story, but they're too polite to interrupt her.

Barbara has decided to move from her family home despite her elderly father's protests. However, the movers that come for her stuff turn out to be incredibly incompetent at their job, and her adult kids show up with their own problems.
