Gordon is always teasing Edward for being old and unreliable and never thanks him for helping him up the hill. One day, Thomas decides to play a trick on Gordon to give Edward the respect he deserves.

Annie and Clarabel are always complaining about Thomas' speed, until one day they are accidentally coupled to Caitlin. Can Thomas stop high-speed Caitlin before she takes his carriages to Mainland?

After hearing an eerie noise at the docks, Salty tells Thomas that it's the Flatbeds of Fear looking for an engine to couple up to. The word spreads and soon Henry and Emily hear the spooky noise and are running scared.

Diesel gets all the other diesels to hide from Paxton who thinks they've all disappeared. Diesel gets carried away and takes the joke a bit too far, but despite this, Paxton still helps him when he runs out of fuel.

Toby is worried about going through Knapford Junction. With the help of Henrietta and Thomas, Toby conquers his fear and is even responsible for spotting a faulty signal.

Toad is bored of listening to Oliver's stories and wants an adventure of his own. He gets his wish when some trucks breakaway on Gordon's Hill. Can Toad stop the trucks before they collide with Thomas?

James needs to rescue Duck from a flood. James collects Rocky, but doesn't wait for the crane's arm to be secured. Rocky's arm knocks over a signal which leads to all sorts of trouble.

James steals Duck's idea of bringing slip coaches to the railway to help out during the busy summer period. Unfortunately, James doesn't know how these coaches work properly and he makes the passengers cross.

Thomas decides to pull a heavy train of extremely troublesome trucks without a back engine. He later regrets his decision when he runs into trouble on a hill.

A bird watcher pulls the emergency cable inside Annie when he hears a rare bird. Due to being dragged along the rails with her brakes on, Annie's wheel is damaged and Thomas refuses to stop and pick up the bird watcher any more.

Duncan learns that he simply cannot please everyone when he encounters a very grumpy passenger.

When Marion the steam-shovel hits a pipe, she tries to cover it up with dirt. It's not long before there's a landslide and a big rock blocks Gordon's track.

Percy is missing Gator terribly and tries to focus on his work instead of thinking about his absent friend. Percy learns that sometimes thinking about Gator can have it plus sides.

Bill and Ben tease Timothy for being an oil-burning engine, but when the clay pits run out of coal, they realise that being an oil-burning engine has its advantages.

A Deputy Minister is visiting Sodor to present Sir Topham Hatt with a "Services to Transport" award. However, he is not impressed with what he sees.

Gator is waiting for his ship to come in and is given the job of bringing Oliver's train to the docks. Gator's lamp keeps turning off and Toad the brakevan is not happy with Gator's attitude towards it.

Gator is back on Sodor in time for Christmas, but he has a lot of trouble trying to reunite with his old friend, Percy.

It's Christmas Eve and the snow is covering the tracks. Can the engines pull together and clear the lines before the last train for Christmas passes through?

It's Christmas on Sodor and all the engine are to be given a new coat of paint. Duncan will only get his new coat of paint if he can go a whole day without complaining. Will he succeed?

Percy tries to find the perfect Christmas gift for Reg the scrapyard crane.

Marion sees some real, live dinosaurs and gets the fright of her life.

Millie uses a model volcano in the Earl's new Dinosaur Park to play a trick on Samson and Harvey after they call her a silly little engine.

Bill and Ben send Timothy on a fool's errand to find a multi-coloured rainbow truck.

Samson takes Gordon's express coaches to the Blue Mountain Quarry by mistake and causes confusion and delay. In the end, he realises that he is not too proud to ask for help.

Emily is given the special job of transporting a giant globe, but it comes off her flatbed and soon she's chasing it all over Sodor.

Samson is put on scrap collection duty and gets a little carried away. He takes Bertie's bus stop sign, a postman's bike and the Fat Controller's car. Can Scruff stop him before everything is crushed at the scrapyard?
