The Solitary Gourmet - Season 1 (2012)

After visiting a wedding venue and having a flashback, Goro has a unique cup of tea with a unique lunch.

On his day off of work, Goro strolls the streets as he dwells about his job. Goro visits the temple, park and fishes to pass the time before he has a much needed talk before enjoying lunch.

After dealing with multiple incidents with the opposite sex, Goro treats himself to a treat before dealing with more "sex" matters until he retreats to a much needed meal.

Unable to make up his mind throughout the day, Goro ends up visiting a psychic to have his fortune read. Eventually, Goro's stomach leads him to his lunch, although having to wait a bit, it becomes a competition with a fellow patron.

By car, Goro travels the coastline of Kanagawa as he has visions of what he wants to eat. With an eager waiter to serve him, Goro is delighted with every piece of food he grills as lunch turns into a workout.

Waking up from a food dream, Goro follows a girl who leads him around to multiple food vendors. Later, Goro find out he has a connection with this girl before he seeks out his next meal.

After buying a kiwi from a street vendor and visiting a park, Goro has lunch where he serves his own drink.

Goro starts the day off with a snack before visiting an old friend. Having to use the restroom at a local shop, Goro ends up staying for lunch. It is here where Goro defends his food.

After helping a mother carry her baby's stroller down a flight of steps and visiting an apparel boutique, Goro finishes his day with a full lunch.
