Don opens his show discussing the frustrations of doing a weekly show. He welcomes Bob Williams and his amazing dog plus the characters of Disney on Patafe

Tommy Roe performs "We Can Make Music." Leslie Uggams sings " Somewhere. " In a comedic skit Don practices first aid on Dan Blocker. Guest Don Williams shows how his dog catches criminals.

Don welcomes guests the Lennon Sisters who perform 'Long, Long Time"_and "Looking Out My Back Door." Mac Davis sings "In the Ghetto." Don joins Chuck Connors in skits including one about captaining a lifeboat.

The Association performs "Silver Morning" and "Traveler's Guide." Jill St. John sings " Snowbird. " Don conducts the Boston Symphony with help from Robert Morse. Knotts, Morse, and Elaine Joyce are in a comedic skit about blind dates.

The Tapestry sings "Hard to Handle. Irene Ryan joins Don Knotts in a skit about women's lib. Bobby Sherman performs the mega hit "Make Your Own Kind of Music."

Don debuts a new comedic character Jesse Fender. Louis Nye is an unintentional comedic U.N. interpreter. Both Mama Cass and Steve Lawrence perform solo numbers then join for a duet.

Don portrays the designer of the "unsinkable" Titanic. In another skit Don tries to sneak someone into a theater managed by Raymond Burr. Jimmy Durante enlists Don, Raymond, and Connie Stevens in performing "Inka Dinka Doo."

Guest Gina is a prisoner who tries to convince attorney Van Johnson she should be free. The Dilliards perform "Tennessee Breakdown" and "Listen to the Sound."
