Sabrina: The Animated Series - Season 1 (1999)

Salem falls for a fellow feline. He learns that she is a kitty-witch as well. They fall in love and want to run off together. But Salem must decide if he wants to reverse his curse and become human again or stay with the Spellmans.

Harvey lacks the courage to show his comic book to the great comic book creator, King Kirby. Sabrina decides to give Harvey a Wishing Star in hopes that he'll wish for courage. But when Harvey's wish comes true he, Sabrina and Salem are suddenly thrust into his comic world. That wasn't quite what Sabrina had in mind. Now as Captain Harvtastic, with Sabrina and Salem in tow they must fight the evil Dysphillia before the comic world is erased and they get erased along with it!

Sabrina, sick of her seemingly mediocre existence decides the grass must be greener on the other side. She casts a spell that switches her life with Gem's. Sabrina soon becomes bored with Gem's spoon-fed lifestyle and wants to go home. But Gem, now holding Sabrina's witch-power doesn't want to give it up! Sabrina must trick Gem into switching lives again.

The Student of the Year winner will be announced soon and Sabrina and Gem are tied to win. Gem uses her money to win the contest so Sabrina uses magic to make Gem lose. Her plan is a success and she wins the coveted award. But when it comes time to accept the award Sabrina tells the truth.

Sabrina, desperate to earn money for an upcoming concert, baby sits the terror twins. Hilda, Zelda and Uncle Quigley warn her that she's just not ready but Sabrina is adamant. The twins wreak havoc in the museum and Sabrina resorts to magic to keep track of the tykes. Harvey and the twins accidentally end up IN the art and Sabrina must find them before the museum closes.

Harvey mistakenly thanks Sabrina for saving his life. She feels bad for the unearned praise she is getting. Sabrina, with Salem's help travels back in time to redo everything. But instead of making it better, she makes it far worse. Sabrina finally decides to tell the truth and risk losing her friends and the undeserved adoration.

Determined to make Harvey happy, Sabrina dabbles in the spooky jar to make him the raddest skateboarder since Tony Hawk, so he can join a pro team. Problems arise as Harvey finds himself in the middle of the championship contest and the spell has worn off. Uh Oh! Sabrina must save his pride and his hide.

Sabrina and Chloe try to compete with Gem by fitting into the latest fad jeans. After sneaking a spell from the Spookie Jar, they not only get their wish by fitting into the jeans but they begin to shrink as well. The more Sabrina shrinks, her power shrinks as well. Sabrina and Chloe must reverse the effects of the spell before they stay that way FOREVER!

Uncle Quigley, sick of being unappreciated runs away from home and leaves the family with a really mean nanny. The Spellman girls despise the militant nanny and turn her into a free lovin' hippie. Now the nanny doesn't take care of them at all. The girls realize how much they miss Quigley and are desperate to get him back.

Sabrina competes with Gem for office of Class President. They play dirty until Gem accuses her of being weird. Sabrina goes to disastrous lengths to prove her wrong. She must prevent the whole school from discovering her secret of being a witch.

Sabrina's band, the Flavor Babes, use a little magic to launch their careers. The much desired fame and riches end up tearing Sabrina, Chloe, Hilda and Zelda apart. Their egos run wild and they split apart for solo careers. It isn't until they realize how much they miss each other that the spell wears off, returning them to normal.

When Pi sees Sabrina's Uncle Zamboni flying through the air, he is convinced there are paranormal rumblings in Greendale. He makes it his mission to prove it to the townspeople. Sabrina must keep him from finding out her family secret before her uncle turns him into a frog, or worse.

Sabrina is tired of the restrictions that come with being a kid. She casts a spell that catapults her into adulthood. She loves the freedom at first but then shirks at the responsibility that comes with being an adult. Sabrina must reverse the spell before she is stuck in adulthood and misses out on being a kid.

After being dissed from Gem's Halloween party, Sabrina throws a Halloween party of her own. With her Aunts and Uncle Quigley out of the house she must throw a killer party while preventing Gem from sabotaging it!

After ignoring an important household rule, Sabrina finds that she has caused Cinderella to appear in Greendale. She discovers that Cindy is a whiny, lazy, jerk. When Sabrina tries to send Cindy back she accidentally sends Harvey to fairy tale land. She must return Cinderella back to where she belongs and retrieve Harvey before her family finds out she didn't follow the rules.

A tarantula-like person (and his ghostly cameraman) put Sabrina in a documentary called 'That Witch'. Sabrina is glad that she can 'control her own life' but she finds out being a star's not all it's cracked up to be and then she quits. Then, Tim the Witch Smeller is released from prison!

When Sabrina hears that her Grandparents are coming for a visit, she is excited. They have an important announcement to make. Remembering that they are separated, Sabrina immediately suspects Divorce. She wrangles Hilda, Zelda, Quigley and Salem into helping her make the Grandparents fall in love again. Sabrina's schemes are disastrous ala The Parent Trap. The Grandparents finally make their announcement; they are renewing their wedding vows. Sabrina learns not to make assumptions.

Everyone is fed up with Sabrina and Gem's constant rivalry. Sabrina casts a spell to make Gem and herself closer. But she uses too much potion and it causes them to stick together. Being a Siamese twin with Gem is hard at first but when they learn they might stay like that forever, they find a way to work together.

Sabrina makes a dream-bike for Harvey, so he can beat the bully Slugloafe. Unfortunately the bike, Sheba, takes on a life of it's own with the intention of winning no matter what. Sabrina must stop the bike before it harms Harvey.

Sabrina uses a little dash of mojo to win a bake off contest against Gem. Unfortunately whoever eats her upside down cake has their personality reversed. Sabrina has to find an antidote before Greendale is ruined!

Sabrina tries to win a spot on the cheerleading squad before Gem. Her only requirement; she must impress the incredibly snobby cheerleaders all week long. Unfortunately, it happens to be the same week that she must guide her old friend Norma Alphalinear, around school. Yikes. Norma's a total geek. So Sabrina casts a spell to make Norma cool but instead everyone wants to be like her. Sabrina must reverse the spell before she too turns into a Norma-Zombie.

Sabrina needs a little lesson in true love for her Shakespeare play. While Zelda just needs a date. They conjure up Romeo to teach them the ropes. But Romeo falls in love with every woman he encounters including Enchantra! When Enchantra learns the truth she wants to punish Hilda and Zelda. Zelda offers to take Hilda's punishment and Enchantra shows some heart. Sabrina learns what TRUE love really is!

Harvey is scared about getting a vaccination. Sabrina makes him feel better by telling him its no biggie. However, when she finds out she has to get a shot for Witchitis, she chickens out. Avoiding the doctor, the needle, and all those scary things in his office she heads home not knowing that she contracted Witchitits. Even when she learns she has it she still refuses help. It isn't until her germs grow to human proportions and threaten her friends that she seeks out help.

Sabrina is excited when her father drops in for a visit. She's disappointed to find that he has brought along with him his fiancée. She is intent on having her dad all to herself and puts a spell on Futura. Instead of getting rid of her, she turns her into someone she can relate to. Unfortunately, her father doesn't feel the same way because Futura is now an obnoxious 12 year-old. Just when he is about to break off his engagement, Sabrina 'fesses up realizing she should have put her dad's feelings first.

The Witches Council has decreed that Sabrina must attend Witches Boot Camp. She cannot get her full witch power until she attends and passes. She isn't too worried, until she comes up against her drill sergeant, Malissa Forethought. Malissa fights her every step of the way. She even taunts her for being a half witch. She learns to use her powers for the good and win over the stubborn witch.

It's Salem's birthday and he's used to getting the lavish gifts. Sabrina thinks her homemade gift sucks so she time travels to get him a unique gift, wishes from all his buddies from the old days. Along the way, Sabrina realizes that Salem has hurt more people than he's helped. Sabrina and Chloe are captured by the pirate John Lefoot, so he can use Sabrina's power for his own greediness. Sabrina must escape with herself and her friend in once piece. She learns that when giving a gift, it's the thought that counts.

Sabrina befriends a stray dog named Alvin. She promises Uncle Quigley she will take the best possible care of her new friend. After the thrill wears off she begins to ignore the pooch. Starved for affection and food the pup accidentally gets into the Spookie Jar. The magic turns Alvin into a vigilante for canines. Salem is wise to him, but no one will believe him...until Alvin kidnaps Sabrina's family. Sabrina must stop this puppy before he and his friends take over the world. She then learns that all he wanted was someone to pay attention to him.

Gem hosts two exchange students to be cool. Instead of the real foreigners, Dawson and Felicity, show up instead. Psst! They are really mischievous faeries. The two have Gem running around in circles tricking her with the new IN things from their country while trying to convince Sabrina to ditch her mortal friends. Sabrina has a blast at first but misses her pals. She learns that the troublesome pair have an evil plan to keep Harvey and Chloe trapped in the faerie realm....Forever!

Uncle Quigley decides to reinstate Family Fun Night on Saturdays evenings. Sabrina and the Aunts think that Quigley is in serious need of a love life, so they set him up with Sabrina's principal. Sabrina decides to go on the date with him to help but she only makes things worse. She casts a spell that makes Quigley irresistible to women. They must stop the madness that's come over the women of Greendale, who will do anything to get a glimpse of Quigley.

Boogey Jr. (son of the legendary Boogey man) pays a visit to Sabrina and Salem. At first they are startled, and then become sympathetic when they learn that he is afraid of his own shadow! Boogey Jr. is not living up to his father's frightful expectations. Sabrina helps Boogey to face his fears! Now Boogey Jr. must confront father and tell him he doesn't want to follow in his footsteps but instead he wants to be an accountant. When Boogey Jr. shows his dad how good he is at the whole number crunching thing, Boogey Sr. is proud of his son.

Sabrina is excited to visit Uncle Quigley in his lab while taking a field trip to the observatory. She overhears a conversation between the director of the observatory and Gem's Uncle who is trying to overthrow Quigley and his research. Sabrina gets involved and things get outta control when aliens capture them. She must straighten it all out and save her Uncle's reputation.

Gem's family has suddenly gone bankrupt and she is forced to stay with Sabrina. The fact that she is broke does not sink in at first and she bosses Sabrina around. She soon discovers that Sabrina is her only friend and she relies on her to show her the ropes. Sabrina is so annoyed by her that she tries to cast a spell that will make her rich again, but she inadvertently throws a wrench in each of Sabrina's spells. She then learns that she likes doing things for herself and feeling independent. When Sabrina finally succeeds in making the Stones rich again, Gem is a ...

Salem's old warlock buddy Hephastus comes in town for a visit. Salem, embarrassed by his cat body, tries to disguise himself. When things get hairy, Salem must confess that he has been turned into a cat and he discovers that Hephastus was using a disguise as well. Everyone learns that competitiveness is silly.

It's time for Sabrina's wisdom teeth to come out. She doesn't want to experience it the mortal way so she opts to have them removed magically and pain free. Once the teeth are gone so is her wisdom. She alienates her friends by telling them what is really on her mind endangers herself by not thinking smart. She must get her teeth back before her smarts are gone for good! One teeny problem: Spookie is on vacation and she must find him so he can reverse the spell. The Netherworld is a pretty big place for one little witch.

When Harvey can't make the wrestling team, Sabrina uses Dragon Spray to help him. The stuff actually works, making Harvey a star wrestler who can even beat Slugloafe. But Harvey thinks the spray gives him luck and he takes more than he should. It causes him to grow to Dragon size proportions and he destroys the town in search for more spray. Sabrina must get Harvey to remember what it's like being his old self in order to get things back to normal.

Gem and Sabrina are teamed up to work on a book report. Since they can never agree on anything - they argue over who will start reading. Gem hides the book in the Spookie jar and inadvertently sends them back in time... to Ancient Rome! Once they arrive, Gem has a hard time blending in and the two are instantly captured. They are commanded to a gladiator fight in the coliseum! The real gladiators try to teach them to work together but the ever-stubborn Gem and Sabrina don't listen. It isn't until they are face to face in real combat with real weapons that they work ...

Sabrina's baseball team is on a major losing streak. And Gem is there to point it out. Sabrina conjures up the perfect team. Well almost perfect...they are monsters from the Netherworld. They bring Sabrina's team around and make them the champs! In doing so, they have benched Sabrina's team including Sabrina. In fact, they want to take over Greendale! So Sabrina and Gem join forces with all the losing players to beat the monsters!

When it seems like Hilda isn't going to pass a test for her mortal driver's license, Sabrina conjures up a cute driving instructor to help and inspire her. Instead of helping, it causes even more problems - Zelda is fighting with Hilda over Ed. Now Hilda does not want to pass the test just so she can stay near Ed. Sabrina must undo the spell before their competition gets outta control.

Sabrina is disappointed at not being picked to go on a field trip by her favorite teacher. Salem steers her to the mysterious Wise Warlock. (okay, so he just helps to earn frequent flyer points) The Warlock tells Sabrina that she suffers from a broken heart. Duh. She knew that already. So the Wise Warlock sends her on a quest to find someone who has never had a broken heart. Sabrina discovers that even someone like Gem could have a broken heart and that everyone gets disappointed from time to time. The only cure is time.

Sabrina goes hog wild at the Greendale JR. High Extracurricular Activities Faire. Against the advice of family and friends, Sabrina boasts she can do it all! Sabrina soon finds that she cannot keep up the pace. But if there were more of her she could. So she does what any 12- year old witch would do....she clones her self, twice. Now with three Sabrina's she can do anything she wishes....or can she? Her clones have a mind of their own which creates even more of a hassle than before. She must return things to normal before Gem exposes Sabrina's secret. The Sabrina's ...

When Harvey becomes obsessed with new martial arts action hero, Devin Degaulle, Sabrina feels slighted that he has nothing else on his mind. She casts a spell to make Devin come to Greendale to shoot his next flick. When Harvey meets the star, a harsh reality sets in. Devin can't do all the things he thought. Devin's not the hero he pretended to be. When Harvey's life is endangered, Devin is put to the test and rescues him. His hero status is reinstated in Harvey's mind but he's got his priorities straight this time, 'cuz Sabrina's his best friend.

Enchantra comes to town for her Annual Witch Evaluation test. She finds Sabrina's progress unsatisfactory, and criticizes our favorite witchling by saying how she has the easy life. Sabrina retorts by saying how she wishes she could be a dictator like Enchantra, but when she forgets that she had Salem's wishing spell in her pocket, it causes her and Enchantra to switch bodies but spares their own personalities. Thank Hades its only for 24 hours but in the mean time they must keep up the ruse. While pretending to be Enchantra, Sabrina learns that her job isn't as easy ...

The Spellman's take a trip to the mountains, with Hilda and Zelda skiing, Quigley ice-skating and Sabrina and Harvey snowboarding a good time is had by all. That is until Quigley runs over a celebrated Ice Capades character and has to fill in for him and Harvey is challenged to a race by Slugloafe. Sabrina casts a spell to make Harvey One with the snow and instead of becoming an awesome boarder he becomes a snowman. Sabrina must switch Harvey back before he melts away.

It's spring vacation. So many places to see...But Hilda wants the gang to go on an Adventure Tour in the Netherworld. They leave just in time because Tim the Witchsmeller is back and wants revenge. Tim discovers where they went and is on their tail. The vacation is teaching the family to cooperate, something they have a hard time doing. They're going to need to pull together because Tim has a new morphing machine and he uses it to turn each member of the family against one another. The Spellman's learn teamwork and band together to reverse the effects and destroy Tim.

The Spellman's Great-Great-Great-Grampa Gandalf comes to Greendale for a visit and to renew his Witching license. The family loves him but his stories from the old days and his haphazard spells begin to unnerve them. If Gandalf doesn't get his license renewed he'll be forced to retire and they'll be stuck with him. Gandalf refuses their offer of help, so the girls must trick him into practicing magic. Because of their meddling, he almost does not pass. But, thanks to his years of wisdom and experience....he does.

Harvey is recruited to test a prototype of a new virtual reality game. Unbeknownst to him, the video executive, Charles MBA made the game addictive. Sabrina and Chloe become concerned when Harvey starts skipping school. They pay a visit to Harvey's house and are shocked to find him hypnotized by the game. Sabrina uses her magic to transport herself and Chloe into the game world. Once there, she is transformed into a warrior and with Chloe's help they fight many mythological creatures and Mr. MBA himself in order to rescue Harvey and return his mind safely to Greendale.

While visiting France, Sabrina accidentally changes the Eiffel tower into a person. This causes a major uproar in France. Once back in Greendale, Sabrina and the aunts cannot return young Eiffel home without his help. He's lovin' his human form way too much to want to return. Harvey and Pi need a lesson in perseverance and Eiffel is right there to give it to them. This confident boost makes him nostalgic for home and he agrees to go. World peace is restored.

When Sabrina is on the fast track to losing the Science Fair, she decides to get a little help....by conjuring up a young Thomas Edison. At first Tom is a pro at helping Sabrina until things start to disappear. She learns that with Tom gone from his place in time, the things he created don't exist. She must get him back to his place in time before he is stuck in Greendale forever. And technology goes back to a time with no movies, video games or Eep. A mall.

After Sabrina gets a bad haircut she is ashamed to be seen. She convinces Chloe and Harvey to go to the movies with her so she can hide. The kids are bummed when tickets to the new hit movie, Submarine II has been sold out. They decide to buy tickets for the other movie instead then sneak into the sold out hit. Just when the kids are seconds away from being busted by the uptight theater usher, Sabrina screws up a spell and they wind up IN the movie. The townspeople in the movie want to hunt down the monster, Freddy. It turns out Freddy was trying to be something he ...

Harvey's favorite show, Billy-Go-Boom-Boom has been cancelled. He begins to freak because everything is changing, nothing stays the same, soon he'll be an old man! Sabrina, not wanting her best friend eternally bummed, casts a spell to make Harvey's childhood imaginary friend, Mort, appear. Harvey is ecstatic to be back in the company of his ol' chum and Sabrina is pleased. That is until Mort childish antics cause trouble around school and Harvey and Sabrina wind up taking the blame! Sabrina is determined to get rid of Mort before he does real damage, but Harvey wants...

Sabrina needs help on a Netherworld term paper. She sneaks into Zelda's prize possessions to look at a journal written by the famous Wizard, Merlin. But the fragile book crumbles upon Sabrina touch. She goes back in time to visit the famous wizard in hopes of getting another copy and replacing it before Zelda finds out. But she and Salem go back a little too far and wind up in a time when Merlin and Arthur are the same age as Sabrina. Arthur pulls the famed Excalibur sword from a stone unaware that his jealous sister Morgan wants the sword for herself. Morgan plots to...

Sabrina abuses her magic one too many times and Quigley is not pleased. He warns her of the consequences of goofing off. Sabrina, not wanting to be a failure in adulthood, swears off magic altogether. Suddenly, strange things start happening around the house. The whole family is shocked when they discover that Sabrina's inner witchlet is the culprit. She then must decide between keeping her vow (not to use magic) or face the consequences and save her family from the havoc that her little self has wrought.

It is field trip time as Sabrina's class heads toward Monument Island where an important statue is kept. The class is disappointed to have chaperones and worse yet, to write a paper on it. UGGH. Sabrina decides to take matters into her own hands by kicking up a small sea storm. The storm gets outta control and they are shipwrecked on a remote island (in the Bermuda Triangle). They are in trouble when Sabrina discovers her magic won't work. The kids pull together to rebuild the ship and get out of there. They are stalled when Salem freaks out and steals the propeller ...

Sabrina is determined to be the best swimmer in order to get Harvey's attention back from another swimming beauty. But she forgets that it's Cliché Week and a jealous comment turns her into a fish! Desperate to return to normal, Sabrina forces Salem to help her locate Hilda and Zelda. When Salem lets her out of his sight for one second, Sabrina is on a wild river-type adventure. Hilda, Zelda and Salem turn themselves into submarines in order to rescue Sabrina. But Harvey has to kiss her (as a fish) before she can be herself!

It's Christmas time and Gem's selfish antics are driving everyone mad! Sabrina and her family conspire to show her the error of her ways by giving her a Christmas Carole type visit. After Salem, Hilda, Zelda and Sabrina visit her, Gem is still her nasty little self. It isn't until Quigley and Sabrina show up at Gem's house with a gift as a true act of kindness that Gem is moved. Even if it's only for five minutes!

Sabrina and her classmates go on a camping adventure! Her Uncle Quigley is acting chaperone. Gem uses this opportunity to get to Sabrina by daring her to play a prank on her sweet Uncle. Sabrina does it to save face but feels horrible all the while. The tennis match of pranks goes on until Harvey is in danger. Sabrina realizes that dares are stupid and people only end up getting hurt.

Sabrina is on a quest to raise the most amount of money for the Library fund. She does and even earns a little extra. Sabrina gets sidetracked while eyeing a vintage collectable doll in a store window. She takes the extra earnings and splurges on herself. Why not? She earned it. That night the doll comes to life and shows her the error of her ways. Sabrina learns that because of her, her friends and family's lives have been ruined. She wakes up the next day, feeling guilty. She returns the doll and learns a very important lesson in stealing.

Hilda and Zelda want a car, and need some cash fast! Quigley explains that they need to get a good old-fashioned job. They reluctantly work at the local fast food joint, but trouble brews when Hilda gets promoted for Zelda's hard efforts. The success goes to Hilda's head and she has to hit bottom before she realizes how much she needs her sister and the importance of teamwork.

Sabrina is just sick of the winter weather, so she, Chloe and Salem would give anything for one hour at the beach. She then dabbles in the Spookie jar and off they go. When they get to the beach they realize they have been transformed, Sabrina and Chloe are mermaids and Salem is a catfish. They get swept away at sea and are captured by Queen Stingy. They must escape and return to the island in order to return home.

Sabrina has a crush on Dave, her new piano instructor. She is devastated when she learns that he already has a lady in his life, Melinda. Sabrina is so jealous that she casts a spell to hurt Melinda's career so Dave can focus on her. It isn't until Dave abandons his own dreams to help Melinda does Sabrina realize what she has done. Sabrina has to give up something important to her in order to restore things to normal.

Sabrina uses her magic to conjure up an advance copy of the latest Spy flick to make Harvey happy. But instead of getting the movie the spell throws herself and Harvey into the spy world. They must fight the evil Furfinger (Salem) and stop him from stealing everyone's thumbs in order for the spell to wear off!

Hilda's is not pleased when her old vampire buddies, The Bat Pack, swoop into town for a visit. But Sabrina is dazzled by their charming ways. She and Salem are smooth-talked into following them to the Netherworld. Once there, they learn that Fang, Emo, and Clammy need their help pulling off an Ocean's Eleven-type Blood Bank heist. Hilda and Zelda show up just in time to take the blame. And when the Aunts are about to receive their punishment, the Bat Pack step in to fess' up.
