Prosjaci i sinovi - Season 1 (1972)

Matan, professional beggar, from the family of professional beggars, is hiding in the mental institution, from the police. While there he is telling his psychiatrist about his beginnings as a beggar, and his grandfather Kikas.

Matan remembers how they were tricking people on the coast and islands. His first cousin, Zlatka, called Vrtirepka, because she was a tease, worries about her own problem.

Vrtirepka is pregnant, and her grandfather is very upset about that. Jokas confronts Kikas about his attitude. Don Pavao, local priest, has some very nonstandard approach.
