Niña and Niño are siblings--- and at the same time, small time thieves. Their story starts 16 years ago when Niña is left under the care of her loving and religious grandmother Belen by their flighty and ambitious mother, Gloria.

Niña grows up to become a carefree and reckless woman brought about by her mother's rejection and abandonment. She thought the pain is gone until her mother's return, with a surprise in tow.

Niña finally meets her half-brother Niño. It was frosty and testy relationship until Niño's caring and loving attitude finally makes Niña realize that he is family.

The siblings' relationship is tested when the only person that binds them disappears--- their Lola Belen.

Due to Niña's lapse in judgment, the siblings find themselves in jeopardy and the only way out is to escape their hometown and never to return. They find themselves stranded in a remote and strange place - Sta. Ynez.

Niña and Niño get entangled in the lives of the townspeople of Sta Ynez. They discover how spiritual and religious the people are, and also meet the town's hero --- a faith healer they call Ka Iking.

Niño attempts to leave Sta Ynez in the hopes of finding his way back to Consolacion. Meanwhile, Niña seems to have let go of her past life and enjoy her stay in Sta Ynez. Their relationship is once again on a rift.

Delia, with her crippled son Kaloy, arrive in Sta Ynez to seek help from Ka Iking. Friendship blossoms between Niño and Jen-Jen. While Niña discover Ka Iking's kept secret.

With Ka Iking gone, Niña grabs the opportunity to sell fake herbal medicines in order to make a living. Niño has no choice but to get along with her sister's plans.

Kap Pinang gets interested on the sibling's herbal business. Gardo and Niña are continuously throwing shades against each other

Niño and Jen-Jen's new-found friendship with Kaloy will be put to test as the latter continue to feel insecure about himself. Something unexpected will spark between Niña and Gardo.

Pressured by his mother the governor, Mayor Charles stays at Sta. Ynez to pursue his plan of opening the mine. Nina and Vanessa go head to head to apply as the mayor's secretary. Meanwhile Nina makes herself more beautiful anticipating to meet again her knight and shining armor, low and behold that he is the town mayor.

Nina gets the job as mayor's secretary, she opts to accomplish her first task. Gloria learns of Nina's new job, she feels proud. Making new friends but keeping the old, Nino assures Jenjen and Kaloy their solid friendship, new friendship is formed.

Mayor Charles opens up to Nina, Nina treats him with a relaxing and stress free experience. Through Nina's advice, Mayor gets a positive response from the people of Sta. Ynez but a negative news about his mother. Nino cures not only the governor's heart but also her soul.

Nina and Nino receive a prestigious award given by the governor and mayor, Nina feels so proud. Meanwhile a rich tycoon wants to invite Nino to her mansion, Pinang makes sure of Nino's safety. Ethan sees a scary monster, suspects it as the urban legend monster, Mantiw.

Diana welcomes Nina, Nino, Isay and Pinang at the mansion and they enjoy the feast specially prepared for them, but Pinang feels something haunted around it. Meanwhile, Orly takes charge in behalf of Kap Pinang, he seems to enjoy and abuse his power . Gloria and Hasmin meet, Gloria pretends as customer of Nino.

Jenjen, Kaloy, Ethan and Veronica run for their life as they see the Mantiw in person. Diana apologizes to Nina, Nino ,Isay and Pinang for deceiving them, reveals her true intention to ask for help from Nino regarding her haunted mansion.

Pinang sees the ghost that's been haunting Diana's home. Nino tries his best to pray over the lost soul. Meanwhile the rest of the SY Squad hunt for the "Mantiw", Vanessa joins their quest. Pinang's tanod are planning to oust Orly.

Pinang reveals that the identity of the lost soul is Jackie's mother, through him, they finally communicate with her and Jackie's true identity reveals. Meanwhile, with Vanessa's help, the SY Squad resolves the mystery of the identity of the 'Mantiw". Pinang is welcomed by rallying tanods to oust Orly.

Pinang fires Orly, but through Nina, Orly gets his second chance. With his friends help, Nino finally visits Gloria. Learning from Hasmin that her new friend's name is Gloria, Nina confirms her suspicion is right all along.

With the help of his friends, Nino rushes to Gloria in time for her birthday, but Nina knows Nino's activities behind her back. Will Nino finally confess to Nina about Gloria. Meanwhile Pinang has one more task for Orly in order for him to gain his job back, Phoebe saves his day.

Nino and Nina end up in a heated argument, for Nina, her tough love will prevent Nino from getting hurt. But Nino is set to visit Gloria whatever it takes. Orly humbled himself and make peace with his fellow tanods.

Gloria prepares for her birthday, excited to celebrate it with Nino, but ends up celebrating alone. Meanwhile, reveal to Nino that Nina knows everything about his secret meeting with Gloria, a burst of emotion for Nina, feels deeply hurt from Nino's betrayal.

A thief is on the loose at Sta.Ynez. Pinang hires Jim, his cousin to lead the manhunt operation. Despite Hasmin's effort, Nina and Nino still remain cold with each other. Nina and Nino's friends show their care and support, just what they need most.

Jim leads the tanods into numerous trouble arresting the wrong thief, people of Sta.Ynez wants result. Nina is still contemplating whether to give Gloria a chance and accept her back, Lola Belen appears on her dreams. With Hasmin's help, Nino finally get to see Gloria, but Nina discovers their secret meeting.

The identity of the mysterious thief is finally resolved. Nina confronts Hasmin, feels betrayed. Putting all the pieces together, the person secretly giving gifts and the person secretly defending Nina is none other than Gloria, Nina accepts Gloria for Nino's sake.

Just as Vanessa thought she receives another blessing, but instead, the most disappointing news from Jose. Meanwhile, an uncomfortable feeling for Nina, knowing that Hasmin and Nino connects well with Gloria. Nino and Gloria hope and pray that Nina will finally give her forgiveness.

Gloria plans to ask Nina's approval if she could move with them, will Nina accept her request? Hasmin's cousin, Joyce, arrives at Sta Ynez and seek Nino's healing power and eventually decides to stay for a while. Nina overhears Nino's prayer and wish for Christmas, a wish that's hard to fulfill for Nina.

Jaime gives Pinang a brilliant suggestion to join a singing competition, Pinang strongly approves. Vanessa seeks employment, but to no avail. Nina decides to make Nino's wish come true, makes a deal with Gloria. Nino is the happiest.

Sta. Ynez representatives for the singing contest starts practicing, but seem a little out of tune . SY Squad is having a blast with caroling activities, but Nino is distracted with Veronica and Ethan. Gloria does her best to appease Nino and Nina, but Nina pretends not to appreciate her effort.

Nina begs Joyce to be their singing coach, but turns down the offer. Its Nina's turn to rescue Gloria from Vanessa, a wonderful feeling for Gloria. Nino wants to do sweet gestures for Veronica, but Ethan seems always in the way.

Nino decides not to join the caroling with his friends, joins Sta. Ynez choir group instead. Meanwhile Vanessa finds a way to earn a living, but hides her identity from people she knows. Joyce opens up to Nina and Nino about her trauma, reason why she wants to forget about singing.

Someone's spying on Sta. Ynez choir group, they opt to win the competition. Joyce finally agrees to be their vocal coach. Gloria wows the choir group with her voice, Sta. Ynez choir wants her in their group, will she accept the offer.

Gloria becomes Sta. Ynez choir group's vocal coach, they finally got harmony. Mayumi completes Sta. Ynez choir group. Nina leads the choir's choreography, but unknown to them, the spy takes note of their moves.
