Samira meets the wife and daughter of the deceased Benny Goossens who are still looking for his rucksack. Meanwhile, Samira's father tries to contact her again after 20 years of silence.

While she is looking for a lost toy, Samira stumbles across the scarf of Babs, a close friend who died in the attacks. When she returns the scarf to the widower, Samira can only admit that she was with Babs at the moment of the explosion.

Samira tries to retrieve the belongings of Astrid, who lost both her legs in the attacks. Tom is unexpectedly visited by Younes, Samira's brother, who, with Tom's reluctance, takes over the children's room as a temporary accommodation
