Sonja and the children are back in Sweden with protected identities. The main witness against Sonja's brother Niklas is brutally murdered. Should she be forced to testify? Their father Anders receives a heavy message.

The rumor about Sonja's return spreads, which has consequences for her new life. While the hunt for her continues, Commissioner Emil Svensson issues an ultimatum.

Niklas is released, but is pressed hard by Barry. Anders tries to find out who attacked his daughter. Sonja starts working for John again, but one day she stops at the marina.

Nina and Sonja's relationship is getting worse. Sonja learns who is behind the murder attempts on her. Niklas does drug deals and ends up in danger.

While Hanna is in severe pain, Niklas is missing without a trace. Sonja forgets Linus' birthday. Barry is once again trying to get his hands on the club Rose.

Dark clouds are gathering. Hanna feels very bad mentally after giving birth. Sonja frantically searches for traces of Niklas.

Emil pressures Sonja because of an unexpected find in the marina. Anders is released with foot shackles. Nina receives unexpected help, and Lukas makes a decisive decision.

Sonja is released and reunited with her sons. An unwelcome guest shows up at the memorial service. The drug lord Pinto Rosales issues an ultimatum. Sonja goes on the offensive in the war against Östling.

Will the plan to free Simon Svart succeed? Sonja reunites with Nina and settles the debt to Pinto Rosales, but the price will be high. Östling strikes back with force.

Barry ends up in a unholy alliance against Ostling. Sonia embarks on a journey.
