Gabby & Debby - Season 1 (1976)

While playing "Treasure Hunt" with their Youth Group, Gabby and Debby find a box containing two keys and instructions to find something in an old house. Following the instructions, they find a magic stick. To their amazement, they discover that when using the magic stick on a map, they can transport to other places.

Gabby and Debby make their first trip using the magic stick to Australia. They arrive near a cabin where there is radio operator. While eavesdropping to the radio transmissions, Gabby and Debby learn that there is sick man in Mountain Robe. The doctor who flew to pick him up had to go back due to a storm. Will Gabby and Debby reach the sick man in time to bring him to the hospital?

Gabby and Debby hear on the radio that an accident happened in the coal mine in Kingston, Penssylvania. A miner named Frank was trapped in the mine, as large wooden beam fell on top of him, pinning him to the floor. The oxygen in the mine is decreasing, and the mine roof is very weak and may collapse any minute. Will Gabby and Debby manage to save Frank - and themselves?
