California receives an unexpected gift and an invitation to leave Mexico City with her three adoptive parents to be reunited with her mother.

The van breaks down. While it is being repaired, California rescues Pigorberta, a lost piglet, and brings her back to her mother. They meet Neto, a magician who wants to join them on their trip.

Diego and his family are passing through Guadalajara when they are forced to go back home. California discovers some revealing secrets: her life is not what she thought it was.

With no money and no gas, in an unwelcoming town, the family has to work to continue their journey.

We reach out destination, Zacatecas, and Miguel must choose between his family and Paulina. The band is back, playing for the first time in eight years, and Itzel is closer than they think.

In Zacatecas, California attends an environmentalist meeting with Pablo Sandoval in search of her mother. Itzel comes up with a new plan to meet her daughter without running into any kind of danger.

We follow Itzel's trail to a new rendezvous point: Baja California. During the trip, something new and unexpected happens to California.

In Mazatlan, Itzel manages to lose the villains. Her parents know that they will have to say goodbye soon and try to delay the boarding of the ferry.

California and her mother are finally reunited in Mazatlan. The girl and her three parents finally have to say goodbye to each other. The reason for Itzel's nine-year disappearance is unveiled.

California, Miguel and Itzel are trapped, but all is not lost. Morgan and Diego can still save them.
