ChuckleVision - Season 15 (2002)

The brothers return to their old school for the Pupil of the Century Award, meeting the obnoxious old boy Gavin Quarmby, who is determined to win at any cost. Barry, however, secretly films him in the head's study, doctoring the short list so that his is the only name on it and he later films Paul, who is trying to add his name onto the list. Both are eventually discredited and Barry is declared the winner.

The Chuckle Brothes retrieve a fly-away balloon for a mother in the park but she doesn't want it back, and it follows them everywhere they go. Paul rubs it on Barry's head to create static to stick it to the side of a van, but it still comes after them and Barry has become magnetised, attracting metal objects. Spy boss Carrington-Smythe feels this could come in useful in his pursuit of a wanted man.

Carrington-Smythe recruits Barry as a secret agent to track down who stole a plasma ball from a research lab. To the brothers' amazement the balloon turns out to be that ball and it - and they - are taken to a safe house,where tests are carried out on Barry by sinister Dr. Devonish. His attempt to kidnap Barry is foiled but he escapes with the plasma ball.

Paul and Barry locate Devonish's secret laboratory but the doctor captures Paul, along with Carrington-Smythe, and tells Barry he will exchange them for the ball. Barry substitutes the plasma ball for an ordinary balloon and the exchange is made. Unfortunately Barry has not told Carrington-Smythe, who has a device which will explode the ball and is about to detonate it.

Paul and Barry are fishing a stream, using sandwiches as bait. Paul of course is rubbish but Barry does very well. Then a trout farmer arrives and tells them they are poaching his waters and they must throw back the fish..except for a giant pike which is eating his stock and he wants rid of. An epic struggle between man and pike follows before the brothers make their final catch.

Whilst looking after a second hand book-shop the Chuckle Brothers accidentally summon Merlin the magician who uses magic to tidy up the shelves for them and briefly takes them back in time to the court of king Arthur, whom they turn into a frog before Merlin sends them back to the present.

Whilst Barry and Paul are clearing out jumble for Gran, they find a magic musical box which, when it is opened and its tune played, can reverse or fast-forward time, making people older or younger. It seems that Gran is well aware of this as she turns back time to just before the brothers' visit and stops them from creating havoc.

During the French Revolution the Chuckle Brothers are footmen to the Countess LeBlanc, who has been saved from the clutches of Robespierre by the Purple Pimple. She does not know it but the Pimple is really her true love, Sir Percy. Robespierre pursues them to England, masquerading as the Duc de Montmartre and initially suspects that Paul is the Purple Pimple.However, due to Paul's stupidity the brothers believe that Robespierre is on the Purple Pimple's side and allow him to abduct the countess.

The Chuckle Brothers stow away on the ship taking Sir Percy to France, to help him rescue the Countess, but they are discovered and made to scrub the deck with tooth-brushes. A mutiny breaks out when the crew want to take the ship to the West Indies to look for treasure, indicated on a map, but Sir Percy takes them all on and beats them - though he does throw the map overboard and ends up with Barry and Paul, scrubbing the deck.

Posing as pork pie salesmen the Chuckle Brothers enter Robespierre's house but are caught and imprisoned along with the Countess before all three are released by Sir Percy. They escape to woods where Robespierre and his soldiers catch up with them. However, after a sword battle during which Paul accidentally pins him to a tree, Robespierre admits defeat and considers running a restaurant instead. Sir Percy, the Countess and Barry and Paul all return to England.

Whilst waiting to be served in a tea-shop the Chuckle Brothers accidentally break crockery and other items and have to replace them from the shop next door. On their return to the tea-shop they find the owner is sitting at a table and she expects them to serve her, and she has a werewolf in tow. What is going on? And will the Chuckle Brothers escape from the werewolf without having to replace the cuckoo clock?

When Barry and Paul get the sack from No Slacking's firm washing out wheelie-bins with jet hoses, they set up in competition to him. He suggests a race - the operative who cleans the most bins being allowed to retain the franchise, but it ends in a dead heat. There is only one bin left as a decider, but it belongs to the fearsome Mr. Dodd, who does not want anyone near it. And then , thanks to the brothers, it gets run over by a car. . .
