Bokura no yûki - Miman toshi - Season 1 (1997)

Yamato shelters a boy Kaoru from bullies. Yuuri has an uneasy feeling about Kaoru and Mori get along with, Yuuri tries to turn him out. Kiichi tries to protect his friends at the risk of his life. All of things lead to some tragic results.

Yamato claims some medicines for injured Kiichi against the Government, but nobody cares about what he say. So he makes a courageous attempt.

Takeru gets to know a young musician Reiji. Takeru and his friends find that Reiji can live only a few days. Takeru tries to learn how to play the guitar from him to carry on his spirits. Meanwhile, Mori discovers a pretty important thing.

In order to alleviate food shortages, Yamato and his friends cultivate fields. Meanwhile, Suzuko heads for Makuhara to want some informations of Yamato.

Yamato, Takeru and their friends have to say farewell to one of their precious friend.

The Government decides to open the gate to Makuhara. They showed convenient stories at a press conference, and the press sings the praises of them. Yamato and Takeru have doubts that the situation has progressed suddenly.

Outside of the city Takeru meets an unexpected person again. Suzuko returns home and other boys and girls find their future home, but they have mixed feelings. Yamato remains alone in Makuhara because he cannot understand the Government's arbitrary way of doing things.
