Appleman has been sulking around the local gym. He thinks this is a perfect environment to ply his latest product: Red-N-R-gise health drink.

Dawn is learning to water ski as Rory watches from the shore while stuffing his mouth with sweets. Dawn warns him his teeth will rot. Appleman listens outside a dentist's office. He likes the sound of the screaming.

Dawn is failing her science class. She tries hard but her heart and head isn't in it. She doesn't want to tell her parents and promises the teacher that she will do better.

Dawn gets a new pet. A parrot. It squawks all night. Rory can't sleep. He wants Dawn to get rid of it. Dawn says no.
