Macarena Ferreiro is a naive young woman who falls in love with her boss; because of him she commits several accounting manipulation and misappropriation crimes. She must face the emotional shock of being in jail, as well as the complicated relationships among inmates. Zulema stands out among them as the most dangerous prisoner. In prison Macarena soon realizes that her chance of surviving the projected 7-year sentence she will likely receive if convicted depends on changing, evolving into a very different person.
