Grace sends Phoebe on a quest to reunite the passion between two former independent bookstore owners whose lives have now been almost nearly consumed by the stress of the corporate world. Meanwhile, Ari alerts Danny that there might be enemy forces plotting against the family, which leads to the gods to ask for Ray's help. But Ray is skeptic about the situation since he does not trust Ari, and is also frightened by the possibility of Ari finding out that he is having an ongoing affair with his wife Grace.

Grace tries to bring together Nick Cavatelli, a physical trainer, and Summer Whelen, a nutritionist expert. Her plan is to hire them both to work on her fitness at the Valentine mansion, in which Summer is too shy to share her romantic feelings for Nick. But things become more complicated when Kate reveals to Grace that she used to have a relationship with Nick years back. Meanwhile, Ari implores Danny to find his love gun, fearing for the safety of the family. Danny and Kate go looking for it in Grace's secret safe. But when Grace catches them, she refuses to believe...

Grace and Leo go undercover as guidance counselors to try to unite a high school teen couple. Meanwhile, Ari and Ray go off in search for the missing Aunt Circe and the Adamantine Blade which in the wrong hands could spell doom for the gods involved.

The valentines bring together 2 lesbian soul mates who parted ways in college by bringing them together in a wedding where Kate is the bride. The blade is recovered by ray and the plot unfolds about the move against the Gods.
