Benjamin stresses about work and his mother which leads to an important conversation with Daniel, and later, he and Dr. Lopez take their relationship to another level, Tasha's great news about a job opportunity is quickly overshadowed by family drama, Giovanni shows up with an opportunity Daniel can't refuse, causing him to miss his date with Guy.

After Daniel's termination, he regains his focus for his blog, which catches the public eye and lands him a spot on a panel entitled "The Clap Back." The Harris visit a specialist who confirms an early diagnosis of Alzheimer's for Bernadette. Upon hearing this news, Benjamin is left to figure out how to best care for his estranged mother. Tasha begins to work on herself and lands a job at an organization empowering young women. Celebrating with Nico, she receives a phone call from Jacoby, which causes Nico to behave jealously.

Jeremiah learns the truth about Juanita's new boyfriend and is forced to confront his past, Benjamin learns some surprising information about Dr. Lopez, Giovanni makes Daniel an offer that's too good to be true, Tasha and Taylor have a heart to heart.

Daniel and Giovanni face off over unresolved feelings and emotions, Tori's baby shower takes a drastic change when Tori makes a confession to the girls; after, Tori and Cameron make a decision about their affair.

Tasha confronts her fears and finally expresses her feelings to Nico, Juanita and Rufus make a decision about the future Daniel receives some promising news about a career opportunity, Benjamin's news about securing a house leads to a surprising conversation with Daniel.
