Nick wonders what kind of father he will be. He confides in Nikki. Neil confronts Drucilla for signing a contract with Sid Garber without telling him. Malcolm wants to help Drucilla and Neil, but Olivia says they'd better stay out of it. Phyllis tells Tim she hurt Paul and Christine. She'll ask for forgiveness. Tim wants to go with her. They both wait at Paul's office. When Christine and Paul arrive, Phyllis realizes they don't know she's responsible for the hit and run, so she leaves without telling them anything.

Paul and Christine wonder why Phyllis told Lynne that the wedding was called off. Paul tries to get some answers from Tim Reid, to no avail. Neil and Drucilla have an argument about her career. Sharon talks to Grace about the baby she had to give up when she was a teen.

Christine tells Paul that she might be pregnant. Kurt is back in Cape Cod. His neighbor tells Ashley that he has changed a lot. Cole congratulates Nina for her work. Ryan calls. Cole advises Nina to save her marriage. Nina wants to go on working with Cole and he agrees. Nick, Jill and Jack argue with Victor about work.

Nick is disappointed. He tells Sharon he argued with his father about work. Nikki overhears that conversation. Later, she confronts Victor. Neil and Olivia have dinner in Neil's apartment. They discuss while their children are watching a movie in Lily's room. Mary tells Lynne she thinks that Christine is pregnant. Paul would like his wife to take a pregnancy test, but Christine is hesitant.

Ryan is back home. Nina tells him she's working with Cole again. Victor learns from John Silva that he can't cancel the contract that Jill, Jack and Nick signed with Keith Dennison. Phyllis and Danny are at Gina's so are Paul and Christine. When she realizes that Christine doesn't drink wine, Phyllis guesses that Christine might be pregnant. Once alone with his wife, Paul says he would be really happy if she was pregnant. Cole would like to talk to Victoria about their marriage, but she has a meeting and has to leave.

Nick tells Sharon he can't stand anymore the way his father treats him. He wants to give up Newman Entreprise and move out after the birth of their baby. Nikki tells Victor how Nick is upset. Victor finally listens to her and agrees to talk to his son. Phyllis learns that Sasha moved in with her boyfriend. She's glad. Unfortunately, Sasha is in fact in the hospital. She's very ill and she broke up with Peter. Christine bought a pregnancy test. She finally takes it but knocks over Paul's glass of wine on to the tester. Later, she tells Paul she didn't have to do the test; she's not pregnant. She cries. Paul thinks they should try to have a baby in one year instead of three like they originally planned. She also asks him if he found the letter left on hid desk and she's surprised when he replies he didn't. Nick doesn't want to tell Sharon bad news about their baby. Jack and Grace are in the hospital to support the young couple. Paul, Christine, Cole and Ryan wonder where Nina is.

Grace and Tony are in Madison. They find out that the woman who lives in Alice and the woman who lives now in her house have the same last name. So they decide to go back there. Danny questions Peter about Sasha's book. But Peter doesn't know anything. Brian understands he is Danny Jr's biological father. He accepts to help Danny against Phyllis. Danny's alone with Christine when he learns the good news; he kisses Christine. Cole tells Victoria he is seeing another woman: Ashley Abbott. Nina is getting better. Her son Philip is very happy.
