Bungo and Orinoco find a broken TV set that has been dumped in the bushes and take it inside the burrow. Tobermory then tries to fix it and starts his own TV show.

Great Uncle Bulgaria thinks that the telephone system has broken, so he tells Tobermory and Wellington to go to the workroom and build a new one.

Orinoco finds a vacuum cleaner while taking 40 winks upon a hill. He brings it back for Tobermory to investigate but gets distracted while Tobermory takes a break, causing quite a mess.

The wombles purchase a mixing machine as a welcome home present for Madame Cholet, who is coming back from her holiday in France. They also decide to bake a cake for her, but they all know that Tobermory isn't as good as cooking as her.
