ZhiXiao is determined and follows Gu Wei everywhere in the hospital. When she takes a blow meant for him, he gently addresses the wound. Something about her continued encouragement sticks with him.

Gu Wei helps Lin ZhiXiao search for her father around the city. Dr Gao realizes that Dr Gu is falling for ZhiXiao. Gu Wei finds a place for ZhiXiao to practice cello. Gu Xiao offers Xiao Shan a business opportunity.

ZhiXiao is excited to get lead cello for the next performance. Dr Gao looks for Dr Gu only to be told that he was with Lin ZhiXiao. Qiu Qiu celebrates his birthday. Qiu Qiu tells Dr Gu that he knows his secret.

Gu Wei attends the recital and defends Lin ZhiXiao when other orchestra members try to belittle her. Dr Gu's parents invite Dr Gao over for dinner. Gu Wei asks ZhiXiao to help him find an apartment.

Looking for apartments serves three purposes: to find an apartment, to stop ZhiXiao from practicing cello before her hand recovers and so Gu Wei can spend time with Lin ZhiXiao. Xiao Shan makes ZhiXiao think it over.

Gu Wei's parents waylay him from his appointment to sign a rental contract. ZhiXiao writes up a proposal for another apartment she found but is told that he would move into Dr Gao's apartment.
