The Oath - Season 1 (2011)

Yunwen contemplates suicide but Guo En managed to save her. Minfei wants Yunwen to go for counselling but doesn't trust Chinese treatment after what her own late mother went through.

Yunwen's condition improved and Minfei is surprised that Guo En's treatment works. However she becomes angry after discovering that Guo En lied to Yunwen that her late husband had an affair.

Zhiyi happily informed Guo En during their dinner that she has been assigned another medical legal case, but however, she is not confident of winning it, and thus Guo En encourages her.

Minfei is woken up by Guo En's call and only realized that Guo En's wants her to be a volunteer doctor upon reaching the community club.

Guo En refuse to learn dancing despite Minfei wanting to teach him, instead he asked Minfei to cane herself.

Guo En is hurt and hospitalized after rescuing Zhiyi.

Guo En tells Minfei to attend a surprise date specially arranged for her.

Guo En heard a loud bang while confessing his feelings to Minfei over the phone, and rushed to her house to discover that her car had crashed into the tree.

Minfei is worried that her mum's death was a result of wrong diagnosis by her father, thus Guo En promised to help her find out the truth.

Minfei received confirmation that her illness is terminal and falls into depression.

Minfei decided to break up with Guo En as she doesn't want him to feel upset.

Guo En takes Minfei's pulse and realized she is very sick.

Guo En accompanies Minfei for treatment while Dewei tries to contact a professor based in Germany, in hope of finding a treatment for her.

Dewei is jealous and throws a fit after discovering that Minfei is taking Guo En's Chinese medicine.

Jianzhong went into a coma after a car accident, Siyun suspects Dewei is the mastermind behind the accident. Zhiyi warns Siyun that these are all conjectures and she has no evidence.

Yongtai tells Minfei that Dewei is the one responsible for Jianzhong's death and has a witness to prove it, however, he needs $500,000 to clear his debts and to tell her the entire truth.

Guo En wakes up but can only remember his parents and Zhiyi but not Minfei.
