Paul Hartman (Emmett Clark), Don Knotts (Barney Fife) and George Lindsay (Goober Pyle) all reprising their famous Andy Griffith Show roles. Andy Sawyer's three friends, Goober, Emmett, and Barney, come to visit from out of town to welcome Andy back to Greenwood however that is not their sole reason for coming.
