The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman - Season 2 (2007)

Jackie falls for Kip (Tom Stern), a guy who lives life on the edge and takes Jackie along for a wild ride. Meanwhile, Tara falls for Josh, the perfect millionaire man, but is unable to perform in the bedroom. Have Jackie and Tara found their perfect match or will it end in self destruction?

Jackie has a new leash on life after Tara takes her to a yoga class; she decides to work as an all around journalist instead of a "wanna-be" screenwriter. Tara's new boss counts on her to find out the big secret at Night Sky where Tara finds out that the men at her work has created a secret Fight Club.

Jackie's mother, Jeanette (Mary Kay Place) is in town along with Roger Lee...her new husband. Roger Lee is in town to play with his band "The Carolina Moonshiners." There's trouble in paradise between Jeanette and Roger Lee and Jackie's newfound step-dad is not what he's made out to be.

Tara is promoted, but only to get Night Sky into the trade magazines. Capitalizing on Tara's promotion, Jackie starts to write a script on a subject she is very unfamiliar with...love. Meanwhile, Tara discovers a room of unsolicited scripts and chooses one that she knows will be gold.

After a fight ensues between Jackie and Tara, they both decide they need a change of scenery and head to a local bar that has obviously been around since the 1940's, including the people. The city of Los Angeles is suddenly in a state of emergency and Jackie and Tara are left to fend for themselves along with a group of elders from The Sea Serf Inn.
