The Life of Riley - Season 4 (1955)

Waldo Binny's sister, Mrs Lindsey, knocks on Riley door looking for her brother. She wants Waldo to babysit her son, Drake, for the weekend but Waldo is hiding because he knows his little nephew is a monster. Besides, Waldo has a big date tonight with his new love, Millicent. Mrs Lindsey leaves Drake in Riley's care but now no one wants responsibility to babysit the difficult child.

Riley begins to feel his age when he chaperons Babs on a trip.

Having promised a fishing trip to Hawkins, and then forgetting to rent a boat, Riley and Otto borrow Muley's rowboat, but wreck it. They then turn to attempting to assemble a prefab boat, but stupidly put it together in Riley's parlor.

Nothing's too good for Babs' wedding, until Riley learns the father of the bride foots the bill.

Chester has misplaced his watch and Dudley puts it in a vase for safekeeping. Riley gets the notion is a thief from his actions and intends to refosrm his pal from his life of crime but also get his timepiece back.

Riley's attempts to win a vacation puzzle his family.

Chester fakes a backache and his boss gives him the entire week off. Riley looks forward to his surprise vacation but things don't go as planned, much to his disappointment.

Junior has success on the football field and he lets the praise go to his head. The Riley parents wonder how to handle their son but Junior had his ego deflated in awkward circumstances.

Riley gets an unexpected day off from the airplane plant and decides to spend it in the park. Chester's appearance and behavior lead to mistaken ideas about his financial situation.

Riley and Peg plan surprise anniversary parties for each other....on the same night.

Riley gets Peg a job---working for two con men.

To prevent his mother from moving in, Waldo announces he's engaged.

Babs' bridal shower becomes a torrent of confusion, thanks to Riley.

Riley's Uncle Chester urges him to break Babs' engagement.

Riley becomes an assistant in a new dress shop.

It's Babs' wedding day and its hard to tell who's more nervous - Chester A. Riley or his daughter, the bride.

Riley thinks it's time the family had a second auto and he will sacrifice his motorcycle to make it happen. Chester holds a raffle for his bike but he befuddles the idea and his plan starts to unravel.

Riley's task: persuading Junior to complete his education.

Riley tries nursing a sick tree back to health.

Riley takes action when a job Babs wanted goes to the boss's niece.

En route to San Francisco, Riley unwittingly helps a convict escape.

Riley is the winner of a contest---along with 8000 other people.

Riley hits the wrong note when he quits his job to try songwriting.

Riley shelters his brother-in-law, a compulsive gambler.

Riley and Dudley buy a supposedly thriving machine shop.

Riley decides his sneezing is caused by an allergy---to Peg.

Riley ends up in the zoo when he portrays an ape in a play.

Riley starts a club for servicemen's wives.

Riley is caught up in intrigue when he finds a coded message.

Babs leaves out an instruction list from her doctor and Chester finds it. He jumps to the conclusion that Don's mother is expecting. Babs struggles to clear up the misunderstanding and tell her dad his little girl is having a baby.

Tired of chauffeuring Junior, Riley buys him a second-hand car.

Con men sell Riley phony stock certificates.

Riley discovers that the house he bought Babs is in the path of a new freeway.

Riley objects when Babs and Don begin looking for their own home.

Disgusted with his neighbor Dudley, Riley decides to move.

Riley and Dudley bet their wives that men can get along without modern conveniences.
