Bobby blows an important loan meeting for Tray, who has to reconsider his business relationship with his cousin. Shay drags Amira to a birthday party so she can spend time with her new friend Faith.

After Josh and Tray have very different experiences teaching Shahzad to drive, Shahzad learns a hard lesson about privilege when they visit Tray's old High school.

Shahzad is mesmerized after Tray takes him to his old barbershop. Shahzad wants to be a barber but that leaves Josh wondering about his future. Meanwhile, Shay prepares for Fashion Week at Copeland's, but has to make time address Amira's recent provocative behavior.

Josh is robbed after helping Tray on the first opening day of the food truck. Tray is confronted by BAMF, the culprit and a hustler who taxes businesses and food trucks in Brooklyn and tries to mitigate the situation the O.G. way.

On Mother's Day, Tray attempts to make amends with his mother, who threw him out of the house 30 years ago for selling crack.

After quitting her job at Copelands, Shay tries to implement her business ideas into Tray's food truck. Cousin Bobby prepares for his new job as an exterminator.

The crew enters in a block party food truck competition in this episode referencing "Do the Right Thing." Tray starts a petition to stop the reconstruction of an old and soulful apartment building in Brooklyn.
