While Sally is in the hospital having her baby Darryl is worried that Yvonne may also be pregnant and keeping it from him.

When parents become displeased with the soccer coach, they vote to enlist Darryl as the new coach.

Darryl goes ballistic when he learns Sydney has asked Milsap to be her escort to her school's Father/Daughter dance.

When the date that Yvonne and Sally set up for Milsap doesn't go well, Darryl and Dave decide they can do better a better job of finding a woman for Milsap.

Darryl wants to be considered a cool dad so he takes his dad and kids camping. But telling a scary campfire backfires on him. Yvonne is excited about a book club she joins but finds out it's more about gossip and wine then reading.

Darryl wonders whether his friendship with his neighbor Dave can survive after learning that he is also close with a man Darryl believes is a racist.

Daryl finds himself in legal trouble when a stray dog that's been around the house is accused of biting someone.

Darryl is upset when he learns Sydney first crush is a white boy. He decides it's time to instill ethnic pride but the experience backfires on him. Dave is uncomfortable with the news that Sally's first boyfriend was African-American.

Milsap thinks Darryl doesn't value his contributions to the company which leads to a huge argument and Milsap leaving. Darryl learns how wrong he was. Yvonne worries about fire safety and conducts a series of house drills.
