Everyone leaves campus on Sunday. Mrs. G's Sunday plans to visit her family are spoiled when her son-in-law's mother becomes ill. She wanders the campus looking for someone to share her Sunday leg of lamb.

Skip gets a bad grade and rushes off to join the Navy. Sarah Green tries to stop Skip before he enlists.

Mrs G discovers that when it comes to rearing children, the answers are not always found in a book.

Mrs. G leads a letter-writing campaign to keep Professor Crayton on television.

Mrs. G discovers that Professor Crayton had a secret love with a poet many years ago. She arranges a poetry-reading with the poet so he can meet up with her again.

Maxie has met a wonderful gentleman, and the relationship may go further than Mrs. G. and the students want to see it go.

Mrs. G is about to flunk chemistry, taught by nasty Professor Kestner (Peter Lorre), who even urges her to drop out, but her advisor Professor Crayton (Cedric Hardwicke) bucks her up and encourages her to give it the old college try.

Mrs. G begins to teach a free informal class in Western Civilization to her working-class neighbors, but she becomes so involved in this project that she starts to neglect her own college coursework.

Mrs. G goes to the faculty reception with all the other Freshmen and keeps everyone interested.

When Mrs G has a private line installed in her room she quickly finds that all of the other house residents wish to use it.

Maxine is considering selling the boarding-house to a developer to pay off all her bills. It will put all of the students out, and Mrs. G will not have anywhere to go, so she invests her savings in half-ownership of the campus boarding-house.

There is a clash of musical styles when the Kingston Trio are booked to play the campus on the same night as the Faculty String Quartet.

Due to shortage of funds to run the boarding-house, Mrs. G decides to raise money by serving Sunday Dinner. Many students do not want to attend because of a certain boarder. How will Mrs. G get over this hurdle?

Mrs. G tries to find a male interest for a student's overbearing mother.

Paul (Fabian) wants to join the Peace Corps against his father's wishes, and Mrs. G, Maxie, and Professor Crayton all try to convince Mr. Volk to allow him to join.

After catching up with an old college chum who is doing well, George decides to quit teaching and start working with his friend at the oil company.

A snobbish Freshman feels superior to all of his peers and lets everyone know it. Mrs. G. puts him in his place during a debate.

Mrs. G telephones Carrie and tells her how the students raise extra funds to stay in school.

Mrs. G convinces the head librarian, Mr. Ames, that she returned the library book he shows is overdue.

Mrs. G gets the student body and the faculty to work together to set the campus curfew while preparing to go to the opera.

Mrs. G's sister Dora gets bachelor Mr. Harris to visit her at college.

Mrs.G and Maxie make room in the house for everybody's father's for Dad's Day since all the local places are full.

Mrs. G finds a nesting bird in the campus cyclotron and protects it from being disturbed and removed.
