The Coroner's Assistant - Season 1 (2023)

James Rigby, a medical student, is hired by self-described coroner Oliver Cross. After attending a coroner's inquest, James is left puzzled as he observes the witnesses' odd testimonies and Oliver's strange lack of professionalism.

Oliver's explanation of his business is interrupted by Mary, his niece. Later, James inadvertently witnesses a terrible event. The next day, Oliver and James visit a familiar corpse - and Mary has an interesting story to tell.

James goes to the country to visit his family for the weekend, but his visit is cut short by an appearance from Oliver. Meanwhile in London, Mary discovers something gruesome.
