The six remaining celebrities have to produce a broadsheet print advertisement for the new BMW 3 Series. They test drive the cars, then get down to business by shooting the ad and then pitch the final product to an executive panel. The team whose advertisement best fulfills the creative brief wins A$40,000 from BMW for their project manager's charity. The losing team returns to the boardroom, where after they discuss what went wrong, two of them are fired.

For the final task, the four remaining celebrities have to develop a song that can be used as a charity fund-raiser, inspired by the theme "Making a Difference". The team that creates what is judged to be the better demo tape goes through to the second stage of the challenge, while the losing team gets fired.

The final two celebrities have to direct and arrange a new performance based on their team's demo track, shoot a video clip and present them to a panel of music industry experts at a launch party, with the help of some celebrities from both the previous and current series. The person who produces the most commercially viable arrangement of the song and video is hired as the second Celebrity Apprentice and will receive A$100,000 for their charity
