The Amos 'n Andy Show - Season 3 (1953)

The Kingfish hires a pretty young secretary to help him straighten out the lodge's messy book keeping, but ultimately ends up with Sapphire's mother.

The Kingfish and Andy strike it rich when a chair they accidentally buy at auction turns out to be stuffed with $100,000.

Kingfish quickly tires of his new neighbors and their over-borrowing, so he devises a plan to make them want to move out of the building.

Andy advertises for a wife. The girl he chooses needs expensive dental work. After the work is done she tells him she is going to marry her old sweetheart.

The Stevens are invited to a fancy party. In order to be able to buy Sapphire a new dress, Kingfish sells her fur coat to Andy not knowing she wants to wear it that night.

Andy falls for a pretty girl from France while he and Amos are visiting the UN building. There's one problem, the girl cannot speak English. So the Kingfish plots to teach Andy French, for a fee. Included in the lesson is a song, in German.

Kingfish, his lodge brothers and Sapphire's auxiliary attend a convention. When they arrive Kingfish gives his money to a man claiming to be from the Protection Committee. Later, when he goes to get his money the man and his money are gone.

After finding a diary that Sapphire is keeping for the teenage girl upstairs, Kingfish comes under the impression that his wife is running off with a younger man.

Kingfish gets a job at a college. When he finds the work too hard he hires Andy with the understanding he is working towards a degree.

Kingfish's car is used in a robbery. To pass blame Kingfish tries to give the car to Andy. When Amos informs Kingfish that it will do no good Kingfish and Andy paint the car.
