Quinn suggests she quit, but Olivia explains she wants to be an actress "like Veronica Lake" and asks for a Tarot card reading. Quinn refuses, saying Olivia needs to make decisions on her own. Olivia Spencer (Jacqueline Murphy) has just finished singing and while looking for her cheating husband Billy (Steve Carnahan) bumps into Mr. Meyer (Jeff Rector), the head of the studio. He has bad news. The big part he promised to Olivia has been given to the younger actress Starlet Moore (Maria Elena Infantino).
