S02E01 · Diamonds 'n Dust

Sep 20, 1983

Retired Australia soldier Griffin, who devoted his old age to setting up a diamond mine in a crackpot Southern African state, was murdered before it became profitable. His daughter Toby hires the A-team to get it running and warns they'll be attacked too by local tycoon Jonathan Fletcher's henchmen and just about everybody has been bought by Fletcher, resulting in an effective embargo. Face and Murdock masquerade as officials to scam supplies. They are all terribly exposed carrying a cargo of explosives to the mine, even after overpowering a pair of goons.

S02E02 · Recipe for Heavy Bread

Sep 27, 1983

Face recognizes, although incredulous, the pastry chef in his fancy favorite LA restaurant as Lin Duk Coo, the kind Viet Cong prison camp cook who kept the A team and many other near-starved POWs alive. The team is just in time to prevent him being killed as inconvenient witness by mob prince Tom Anderson, formerly POW camp rat Thomas Angel, and former camp commander general Chow. It turns out the fiends are combining forces to import and distribute Chinese heroin. Face's alias and reputation are ruined as his 'borrowed' designer apartment is wrecked as temporary HQ.

S02E03 · The Only Church in Town

Oct 11, 1983

Face receives a cryptic letter from his college sweetheart and demands the Team go to Ecuador to save her. A big surprise awaits Face, not to mention a criminal gang holding everyone hostage inside a children's orphanage.

At the end of their stint in Vietnam, Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith and his team were framed for robbing the Bank of Hanoi (which they had done, but under orders), and sent to a US military prison. They escaped and went on the run, pursued first by Colonel Francis Lynch and later by Colonel Roderick Decker and finally by General Harlan "Bull" Fullbright. While on the lam, they became heroes for hire, working as good-guy vigilantes around the United States or the world. Hannibal was their leader and an expert at disguises. Templeton "Face(man)" Peck was the team's con artist and ladies man. Bosco Albert "BA" (or "Bad Attitude") Baracus was their mechanic, but also took care of mayhem and intimidation. The final member of the Team, H.M "Howling Mad" Murdock, was an expert pilot, and a certified lunatic--they broke him out of a mental hospital whenever they needed him for a mission.
