Syrror - Season 1 (2016)

A billionaire is in need of a liver transplant, which becomes a test of the hospital staff's morale and Iris is reminded of an unpleasant event from her past. Malin and Jonas are getting closer and closer.

A dying young woman refuses to receive blood because of her religious beliefs, and Jonas and Malin become involved in the case. Iris is about to fall for Erik, but her past puts obstacles in the way.

A young girl with a stomach ache turns out to have bigger problems and the police must be involved. Malin struggles with the pressure of meeting Jonas' children for the first time. Iris has a hard time getting enough money.

At the funeral of Carina's husband, the nurses come into contact with a priest who carries several secrets, which makes Malin think about her own situation. Julia hesitates before moving to Switzerland.

Sweden's Minister of the Interior comes to the hospital with a knife wound in the stomach. He claims it's self-inflicted, but Carina suspects he's hiding something.

A spring walk ends in disaster and Julia's daughter is taken to the hospital by ambulance. While everyone tries to save her life, Malin struggles with her addiction. Carina interviews a new nurse who will take over from Julia.

An elderly man hopes to be visited by his children and grandchildren before it is too late. An abusive couple has caused their son a severe eye injury. Alexander has gone to Switzerland and Julia have a hard time alone with the children.
