Adapted from Sonic the Comic #3, While playing football, Tails discovers an item monitor with Sonic trapped inside. When he opens it, it's not Sonic who comes out but an evil clone that immediately sets out to ruin Sonic's reputation.

After Robotnik's recent failures, he has had enough. He calls Modern Sonic to distract Sonic and the gang while he unleashes the Eclipse Cannon.
