Rêve de Champlain - Season 1 (2015)

The Early Years of Champlain are determining factors in the construction of the man and his biggest dream: a better world in the virgin territories of Northern America. But where do his humanistic conscience, his bravery, his skills that led him to risk his life to such an ideal? We go to France Brouage where grows the young Samuel. There he learned the art of navigation, to draw, but also to fight. Then comes in the inevitable Henri IV. Together they lay the foundations for a new France.

Champlain, geographer of the king, must convince the court of the feasibility of establishing a New France in North America. Champlain succeeds and a new expedition was organized. We go to the old pool Honfleur, former launch ramp numerous Champlain's voyages to New France. Here he prepares his first start to America, under the command of Pont-Gravé.
