Rebel Highway - Season 1 (1994)

Angie, Mary and Laura are tired of the same old 50s suburbia routine. The 3 guy-crazy girlfriends take to the road in a stolen car, trying to track down one of their ex-lovers before he leaves for the Navy, ending up in a heap of trouble.

Sweet aspiring singer/songwriter Aggie O'Hanlon gets sent to a tough women's prison to serve a life sentence after being found guilty of a murder that she didn't commit. While incarcerated Aggie befriends several other inmates who are also serving life sentences. However, Aggie soon finds herself the target of various "hit girls." Can Aggie survive life behind bars long enough to prove her innocence?

Spunky teenager Susan and her friends start their own rock band as well as open a night club. However, they face opposition from local uptight adults who consider rock'n'roll to be the devil's music and think that it will have a negative corrupting influence on their children.

A 1950's high school cheerleader meets a leather clad rebel biker and goes out on the town with him. When he steals an item of jewellery he gets thrown in prison but not for long. He makes a desperate escape and he is determined to catch up with his lost love and re-new their criminal activities.

Michael and Roslyn were high school sweethearts. So were Joannie and Bobby. They had a double wedding at 18 and babies at 19. Joannie is having an affair and convinces Roslyn to have one with bad boy Joey. Joey is a very bad boy.

Donna Patterson is a passenger in a hit and run. She's sent to reform school, taking the rap for the driver, bad boy Vince. Inside, she makes friends and learns about herself while trying to save her little sister from their abusive uncle.
