The kids discover and wonder why a rich neighborhood family's injured bulldog, Wally, is locked behind a gate instead of getting veterinary care, needing paw surgery. The family's son Kevin abandoned horse riding, his sister Charlotte steals, notably dog food. The Puppy Patrol learns and fixes the problems with grandpa Bob's help.

The patrol bunch helps uncle Bob organize a sponsored run for guidance dogs. Emma nearly failed to help Lena, Niels and Jesse although it was her idea, just because her school pitch was ridiculed in class by pupil Tim, who seems frustrated. Blind Isa goes missing during the event with her buddy dog Vespa, having been left in the woods by her elder brother Tim, who is sick of his family paying attention only to her all the time. Tim soon regrets it but can't find her alone, which is easy for patrol dog Dapper.
