Jon quiere rehacer su vida y centra sus esfuerzos en reflotar sus laboratorios, pero se encuentra con un gran obstáculo: los fondos marinos de la bahía y la proteína que descubrieron están perdiendo efectividad. Aparte, al intentar recomenzar su vida en el pueblo destapa un gran secreto del pasado de Anne, un secreto que podría explicar el porqué de su desaparición.

Susana warns Jon that his family's shipyards have been conducting illegal activities in the bay for years. Jon will be convinced to go against his family and denounce them for the poisoning of the bay and for it. Amaia uses all possible legal means to get her son Joseba out of jail. Javier will remember his past and the problems he faced with Anne.

Jon and Maite dismiss Javier as the father of Anne's child. The Arístegui argue over Jon's ultimatum to his activities in the shipyards. He has also asked them for compensation. Begoña has an anxiety attack that she suffers when she remembers the close relationship between her husband and her Anne. On the other hand, Amaia is hopeful, it seems that Joseba will finally be able to get out of jail.

Jon's cell phone rings. The call is from Anne. Together with Maite and Susana, she tries to find out what reasons she may have for calling him after so many years without hearing from him. Iñaki and Ainhoa seem to have learned after Jon's threats and are determined to do things right. Joseba tries to adapt to her new life outside of prison, but her return is not easy.

The discovery of the supposed body of Anne removes all the inhabitants of the town. Jon is arrested, but Susana's investigation points to Joseba. Not only did Anne's corpse appear in a den on the Otxoa grounds, but she had every reason to want her sister dead. Joseba will be the main suspect, but a confession from Julen could change everything.

To everyone's surprise, Anne has left Susana a necklace in her will, a necklace that hides a secret that affects the foundations of the Otxoa family and that may be the key to the murder. Amaia discovers that the shipyards have been polluting the sea for years and threatens Begoña with denouncing them. Javier finds out that Maite is pregnant, but why hasn't she told him?

The pressure on Susana grows as both families, Arístegui and Otxoa, accuse each other of Anne's death. The police knows that it cannot take any wrong step, especially when Anne's murderer is still on the street. Ainhoa tries to stop Joseba's incipient political career, which could take the mayor's office from him.

There is no doubt that Susana died after discovering Anne's murderer. Pedro provides Jon with the last piece of evidence that he investigated the police before leaving the barracks the night he died: a photograph of the search for Anne after her disappearance six years ago. Is the murderer among the people in that photo? Jon takes the reins of the investigation, he will find the murderer, whatever the cost.

Elena goes to the police station to report Jon, she can prove that he is Susana's murderer. Immediately the arrest warrant is issued and Jon fled, everything indicates that he has indeed deceived everyone during all this time. However, once again nothing is what it seems. Will the police be arresting the real culprit?
