Sorenson and Sipowicz investigate the beating death of an elderly shop owner. Russell and Kirkendall encounter Dolores while investigating a homicide at a strip club.

The detectives search for the truth when a white off-duty police officer with a history of racism fires upon an African-American undercover cop. Dolores is arrested for shoplifting.

Kirkendall's son witnesses the murder of a convenience store clerk. Medavoy and Martinez investigate the death of a homeless man.

The detectives find themselves caught between the F.B.I. and Internal Affairs when an off- duty officer is killed during a robbery. Medavoy falls victim to Sipowicz's mischievous prank.

A gigolo is suspected of killing one of the tenants who lives in his apartment building. Sorenson's friend kidnaps a man who groped female passengers aboard a bus.

John Irvin fears the worst when Dolores disappears. The detectives search for a body when a mentally ill man confesses to raping and murdering his girlfriend's daughter. Two brothers run their own investigation when their sibling is murdered.

A shooter fires upon Fancy during a stakeout. Sipowicz fears that Dornan's demotion may be linked to the reopening of the Suarez case.

Sorenson and Sipowicz investigate the murder of a nine-year-old girl whose body was discovered inside a locked basement. Medavoy and Martinez assist an elderly man who believes that his young girlfriend was pressured into embezzling money from him.

Sorenson and Sipowicz investigate when a fellow officer shoots a drug dealer; Russell and Kirkendall intercede on Gotelli's behalf when a disgruntled man repeatedly vandalizes his mobster neighbor's car.

Medavoy has an option for a holiday in the Hamptons. Danny's girlfriend announces she is late. A suspect is wired for sound to catch his boss in a case of a body in a dumpster.

The team investigate a courier firm robbery where Mike Roberts works, which looks like an inside job. An old lady dies, her apartment is robbed, and her nasty sister makes an impression.

Mike Roberts is found dead. John reveals a connection between Roberts and Cullinan, who was with Dolores when she died. Mike left behind a memoir detailing some of his work. Jill goes undercover as a drug-addicted hooker.

Dornan causes problems at an AA meeting and Andy asks the Lieutenant to talk to him. Dolores' father accuses the squad of withholding information from him about his daughter's murder. Jill splits from Cohen.

ADA Costas prepares for the trial against Cullinan, and chooses Sorenson to testify over her husband. A man is shot dead in his apartment, and his wife's story about Latinos looking for drugs doesn't add up.

Tensions mount as the Cullinan trial approaches. Mike Shannon brings a problem to Sorenson. Danny kisses Diane. There's a shooting at the courthouse.

Andy and Theo struggle to live without Sylvia, and the squad worries about them. Cullinan is confronted with new information about Mike's death. John is released from hospital.
