Naomi is a teenager attending high school whose life is about to change forever. When a supernatural phenomenon occurs in her hometown, her true destiny is revealed. Naomi is based on the comic book series of the same name, created by writers Brian Michael Bendis and David F. Walker with illustrator Jamal Campbell. Season 1 of the superhero drama is written and executive produced by Academy Award nominee Ava DuVeray and Jill Blankenship. Duvernay is an Academy Award nominee known for films such as Selma and the documentary 13th. Blankenship previously worked on The CW’s Arrow.
