Murder of a Moderate Man - Season 1 (1985)

Interpol agent Morgan Hunter-Brown is sent to Italy to get Veltri an Italian money launderer. Fellow agent Dorff gets political prisoner Parviz Vaziree from jail as the key witness. Arriving Winson Green prison stirs a number enemies.

Rival of Parviz Vaziree, Farshid is found dead of a stroke, in telephone box. Morgan Hunter-Brown discovers names of a cell in which only three are still living so requests autopsy. Sasan, who is on the list is thrown under a train.

Farshid's autopsy shows that he was murdered. A witness claims Sasan was thrown in front of a train. Hunter-Brown wants to know why Parviz Vaziree is being used as bait. Laleh escapes with her life when two assassins break in her home.
