A fight ensued, a gun went off, and Carl was shot. He died on the way to the hospital. 70 years later, a young couple had just moved into the house when they were told about its gruesome past. Naz and her mother Effat were looking for a home in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles. They found one that was perfect for Effat, Naz, Naz's husband and their new baby. Three months after moving in, they found out from a neighbor that a horrifying murder took place in the home. Laura Purviance lured her mother to the house and killed her in one of the bedrooms and then fled to Oregon. Upon her arrest, Laura confessed everything.
