During a burglary at a secondary school a locker is stolen, containing the national examinations that are about to begin. If the investigation team don't found the locker enough, there will be implications for thousands of high school students. Because of time pressure, tensions within the investigation team are high.

The brothers Carlo and Olivier were held responsible for numerous violent crimes in Friesland for years. Until one day they disappeared and nobody heard anything from them. It seems that the brothers are back, when there find a violent raid takes place in a restaurant. And they came back for a special reason.

In Leeuwarden there's a wooden box found with a amputated man's hand. Short after this there is found a second box with another part of a man's body. The detective team does everything what's possible to prevent even more boxes. But who is the perpetrator and what does he wants?
