MasterChef Junior - Season 6 (2018)

The Top 22 split up into teams and must prepare as many perfect-looking milkshakes as they can in just 10 minutes. The winning teams will be safe from elimination and one unlucky judge will get a sweet surprise! Then, the rest of the junior cooks will each have to put their own personal twist on a classic chicken-and-waffles dish. It is then up to the judges to decide who stays and goes home.

The Top 20 face their toughest team challenge yet: preparing lunch service for a wedding of 75 guests. Both sides will be cooking racks of lamb and pan-seared halibut, and it will be up to the judges to decide which team wins and who from the losing team will head home.

In the mystery box challenge, the junior home cooks must craft desserts using natural sweeteners instead of sugar. The winner receives a sweet surprise and has his or hers signature recipe in Family Circle magazine.

The junior chefs split up into pairs and have to decorate and frost as many specialty as they can in just 10 minutes, all while being tied by the ankle to their partner.

The junior cooks are divided into two teams, to serve as cooks for room service; the junior cooks are divided into tag teams to compete for the spot in the top 10.

The top 12 have just 15 minutes to make as many eggs benedict dishes as they can. Then they must prepare one of the most difficult egg dishes of all time.

The remaining home cooks create their own unique dishes but must use one common ingredient - chocolate. The winner will receive the first-ever Masterchef golden apron and the biggest advantage in series history.

The junior chefs cook for 30 Masterchef Junior alumni at a pop-up restaurant. The losing team will head back to the Masterchef kitchen for a pressure test designed by season 5 winner Jasmine Stewart.

The remaining home cooks prepare dishes inspired by their grandmothers.

After a season's worth of challenges that tested the cooking abilities of young contestants from across the nation, only three junior home cooks remain. The finalists face one last battle, during which they must prepare a three-course meal that will impress the judges.

Entrée: Avery serves seared ribeye cap with mustard greens, glazed onions, chimichurri and bone marrow butter. Quani serves duck fat fried catfish with spicy greens, pickled okra and corn purée. Beni serves grilled veal chop with beet-potato fondant, red cabbage sauerkraut and mustard cream sauce. Dessert: Beni serves deconstructed apple tartlet with walnut crumble, apple-brandy cream and cranberry coulis.
