Mama - Season 1 (1956)

Nels gets a crush on Florabelle, a southern belle visiting from Dallas. Thinking he doesn't have a chance Nels introduces her to Tommy, the school's football star. When Mama finds out she tries to fix things.

The Hansen's window is broken by neighborhood delinquents and Papa wants Katrin to get the police. Mama doesn't want the boys in further trouble and thinks there is a better way to handle the situation.

Mama learns several of her neighbors have lost money to a fortune teller. Mama comes up with a plan to derail the grifter.

Mama joins an amateur theatrical group which causes concern among her family.
